This is the meaning of what is stated, “Here is Elisha the son of Shofot who poured water on Eliyahu’s hands,”¹⁷Rashi explains from where they got the water to fill the entire ditch. and a miracle took place with the water through him, [i.e.,] he is worthy that a miracle should take place with water through him.¹⁸II Melochim 3:11.
